As an act of sensitivity, here’s the more toned down version of what was known as the cruelest cover in FHM Philippines’ 12-year existence (the issue also containing the cruelest article I’ve ever written in my entire life :p). Taking a break from revisions, stress, and the overall shittiness of things by flaunting stuff. Might not be Laneway merch, but these are great! Thanks @thebluemilkshroom yo da best citizen out of olio Singaporeans, lah.

Since the merchs section at Laneway was always encompassed by a swarm of indie kids, most of the good stuff immediately sold out. In fact, I was quite ‘lucky’ to have scored the second to the last Horrors tee right after the festival (SGD 45 for one band shirt, which is roughly equivalent to PHP 1,530, is still rather outrageous, though). Sadly, I couldn’t get Ica any of her requests i.e. a Feist or M83 t-shirt. However, thanks to the Singapore Expo and HMV, I was able to snag her these goodies which were altogether cheaper than one Laneway souvenir—

SGD 25 (“The Kills” Shirt) + SGD 14 (“The Beatles” Illustrated Biography) = SGD 39
